Self-guided

Activities at Wilderbliss

Wilderbliss provides accommodation and access to approved areas of the property. It does not provide specialist outdoor equipment, guiding, activity transport or equipment hire unless this is arranged separately in writing.

Wilderbliss is a self-guided wilderness stay. Guests must bring their own clothing, footwear, food, safety equipment and specialist gear for any planned outdoor activities. Hunting, fishing and river equipment is not supplied.

Guests must bring all of their own equipment required for their planned activities.

Farm and bush walking

Follow farm tracks and approved routes through paddocks and native bush, with long views across the valley.

River country

The Glenroy River runs through the landscape. River levels change quickly — always check conditions before going near the water.

Wildlife and birdlife

Native birds, farm animals and long quiet evenings. Bring binoculars and a camera.

Hunting and fishing

Access to particular areas must be approved in advance and guests must hold all required licences and permits. River fishing requires a valid fishing permit, and hunting requires written permission from the farm. Please arrange both with Gemma before you book. No equipment or guiding is supplied.

Stargazing

Very little light pollution. On a clear night the sky over the valley is extraordinary.

A base for the region

Murchison is the nearest town and a well-known base for adventure operators if you would like a guided experience.
